The name

The name comes from a phrase: orbit to me. You are at the centre; around you, the people you already know. The animation beside this is the one that opens the app: YOU becomes a person, the person fills with other people, and those people move into orbit.

Sign in with your phone number
Enter your phone number, receive a code, you're in. No email, no account to create. Simple.

On first login orbiTome recognises friends already on the app — your address book is not uploaded to a server. Your contacts stay on your phone.

Create the event in three steps
Step one: the pin on the map. Step two: emoji, title and time. Step three: your tags (e.g. "Football") and invisibility, if you want it. You save, and sharing opens: you choose which app to send the link with.

Before the event you reply “I'm in” or “I'm out”. Once it is under way you tap “I'm here” and the people waiting for you see it; when you leave, “I'm off”.

Event countdown (example)
The expiry depends on how you create the event: standard, "tonight", or a date you pick. When it expires, the event disappears from the cloud. Your Vault remembers it.
