The conditions that govern your use of the orbiTome app. Please read carefully: by using the App you accept these terms.
By using the orbiTome application ("the App") you fully accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, please do not use the App. Continued use also constitutes acceptance of any updates to these terms.
To use orbiTome you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you declare that you use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian where required by local law. Use is prohibited for anyone previously removed from the service.
orbiTome is an app that lets you create and discover and create ephemeral events nearby. Events have a limited duration and expire on their own: 2 hours from the start for a standard event, 11:59 PM the same day for the “tonight” slot, 4 hours when the user picks the date and time, the stated time for an idea; if the host is on site the duration may be extended up to a maximum of 6 hours from the start. The App offers privacy features such as Invisible event. The service is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time.
Access is provided through phone-number verification (OTP code). You are responsible for keeping your access confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. You must provide truthful information and keep your details up to date.
You agree not to use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes. In particular, it is prohibited to:
You are solely responsible for the events and content you publish. You grant orbiTome a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to display such content within the App for the sole purpose of providing the service. Events are ephemeral and are removed automatically on expiry. We may remove content that violates these terms.
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy Delete account, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By using the App you consent to the processing of data in accordance with that policy.
orbiTome enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation. Prohibited conduct and reporting methods are described in our Child Safety Standards. Violations result in a permanent ban and reporting to the competent authorities.
The App, the orbiTome trademark, the software, the graphics and the related intellectual property rights belong to the service owner. You may not copy, modify, distribute or decompile the App, except as expressly permitted by law.
orbiTome is built by one person with the help of artificial-intelligence tools for writing code, texts and translations. Everything produced with those tools is reviewed and tested by a person before release: using artificial intelligence does not reduce or shift the service owner's responsibilities, which remain entirely his.
The texts and images published on this website, in the guide and on the store listings may also have been created or modified with those tools. Screenshots of the App, on the other hand, are real: they are anonymised before publication, not generated.
The App contains no artificial-intelligence features and does not send your data to artificial-intelligence systems: what you publish stays within the boundaries described in the Privacy Policy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, orbiTome is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App, nor for the conduct or content of other users. You are responsible for your own safety when attending real-world events.
We may suspend or close your account at any time and without notice in case of violation of these terms or behaviour that puts other users at risk. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time; on logout, local data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms; significant changes will be communicated through the App or website. These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the court of the consumer's place of residence has jurisdiction where provided by applicable law.
